Since 2003, STARS Children Africa has been educating and mentoring orphans in Kenya, South Africa, and Zambia.
In January 2006 we focused our work in Kenya. Since then we have seen the following results:
116 orphans have attended high school on our full potential scholarships. 39 off these are girls. 86% of our students graduate from high school. 23 have gone on to pursue higher education in engineering, pharmacology, environmental science, management, teaching, and journalism.
All the STARS who have graduated from higher education are working. Many STARS graduates are volunteering to teach youth or help their communities. Several have also started small businesses. Many of them are married and have their own children. See the difference we have made!
