In the USA on the 4th Thursday of the month of November, a day is set aside to give thanks. Thanksgiving day offers an approach to develop an attitude of thankfulness for each day of the year. This year we are thankful for our creator giving STARS Children Africa and St Luke’s Ministry the opportunity

Mid term exams for Faith is 6 – 13 October, only two days from today.  She has 7 subjects…a lot of exams.  Please pray for her and other STARS in high school and higher education.

STARS Children Africa provided scholarships for high school toped these orphans who overcame huge challenges to graduate.  Their post high school unselfish service for 18 months help to educate other destitute orphans, without guarantees for themselves.  Such character and dedication challenged us to seek funds to provide scholarships to enable them to attend higher education. 

This afternoon I talked with our Kenyan partner, who had returned from taking the 2nd of the Graduate STARS, Fredrick, to Eldoret to study. Our partner and his dynamic wife are their guardians and mentors, as well as for the high school STARS. We thank STARS supporters for making it possible for Faith and Fredrick

Last week Tuesday, Faith arrived on time from Nairobi.  Then on Saturday, my wife and I accompanied her to College in South Carolina.  She called this week.  She is settling in residence hall living with a good roommate and attending orientation with other new students.  Next week Wednesday, classes begin.  In addition, 11 other Graduate
