“My dream has always been to use imagery, especially documentary-style photography, to draw attention to complex, problematic issues and have those images help drive changes to make the world a better place. I will be heading to rural Kenya for the purpose of chronicling the stories of the STARS orphans. will use my eye and camera to tell these stories of good news and perseverance so that we can add them to our collective internal image library and see how our support can further these bright spots among otherwise bleak newscasts.”
